360|Flex Presentation

So 360|Flex went pretty good! I presented the Ticketmaster Kiosk and a brief insight into the designer-developer workflow that was used to create it.

Check out the presentation from mine and others by installing the latest Adobe Media Player or add the RSS link to the developer network in yours (or visit Ted’s blog post on the presentation at http://onflash.org/ted/2008/08/ticketmaster-kiosk-by-kevin-fauth.php).

Also check out a brief interview I gave to Jeffrey Houser of The Flex Show.

  1. It was great to chat with you at the conference Kevin. I just added your blog link in the show notes of that episode. ( Although it does look like you have two ‘http’s in the direct link ).

The integration with the touch screen intrigues me. If there was stuff to talk about I’d love to have you on for a longer episode.

    Dear Kevin Fauth.
I’m a student. I watched this video on the link http://onflash.org/ted/2008/08/ticketmaster-kiosk-by-kevin-fauth.php. I’m very enjoy it, and want to learn about it. Can you share to me some resource off this project?
    Best regard.

    Hi Huan-

I just completed a full tutorial of the project on Adobe’s developer connection at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/flex_kiosk.html. Check it out for sample files and an explanation on how certain pieces work.
